Chef Ashlee Upton perused a life in the culinary world thanks to the guidance and encouragement of her father. Her professional career began as a prep cook for Lundy’s Catering (Lexington, KY) and earned her way to the position of Sous Chef. Ashlee has experience in organizing small intimate meals, weddings, and large sporting events. As the Executive Corporate Suites Expeditor, Ashlee has worked events such as the St. Petersburg Grand Prix, Daytona 500, Coconut Grove, and the St. James Art Fair. While crafting her culinary and management skills in the workplace, Ashlee attended culinary school at Sullivan University where she was granted the opportunity to work under some of Kentucky’s most accredited chefs.
Ashlee has a total of 15 years of experience in Culinary Arts and Business management. She is a “ground roots” that brings a new edge to the “old school” style of cooking. Her attention to detail and passion ensures that every event she is involved in is extremely organized, well prepared, and held to the highest standard.
